Ocean Shores Polar Plunge 2026
KICK OFF 2026 WITH A BRISK SPLASH IN THE PACIFIC!
Join the OS Senior Surf Club and the OS Ladies Society for a New Year’s Day Polar Plunge at the Chance A La Mer beach approach. The polar bears will start gathering around 11:00 a.m., and we’ll head into the water right at high noon.
We’ll have a cozy bonfire going to enjoy while everyone gears up for the plunge.
WARNING: The plunge is at your own risk!
The water will be in the high 40s to low 50s. That’s cold! Frigid, even. If you have any health conditions that may be a concern, consult your doctor beforehand. This is an all ages open to everyone event; however, those who are very young or very senior may want to watch from the warmth and safety of the beach.
Make sure you bring warm, dry clothes and towels for after your dip. Costumes and good vibes are encouraged.

Join The Boutiques Market for Boutiques at the Beach Market at the Ocean Shores Convention Center in Ocean Shores for our first event of 2026.
Ocean Shores is great in January! The hotels are much less, because January isnt great for tourists. But, it is great for storm watching, shopping indoors, heated swimming pools and hot tubs and just plain ol decompressing after the Holidays!
Boutiques at the Beach is a fun faily friendly circus themed market featuring all kinds of vendors handmade and retail with a fun pastel circus theme. Come in costume, or just come and clown around!
In a separate room at the convention center Freaks at the beach will also be going on at the same time! We expect over 60 vendors total!

Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival
Each spring, hundreds of thousands of shorebirds stop to rest and feed along the Washington Coast and in the Grays Harbor estuary during their migration northward. Coming from as far south as Argentina, these Arctic-bound shorebirds are among the world's greatest migrants. Some birds travel over 15,000 miles round trip! The concentration of birds during spring migration offers people a great chance to view a number of shorebird species. With luck you will also see the birds fly together in beautiful formation "murmurations" while trying to escape a Peregrine Falcon.

Grays Harbor Festival of Colors
Grays Harbor Festival of Colors is the premier kite festival on the west coast. This event is made for kite fliers of all skill levels with special events for kids. In the past we have had kite fliers coming from as far away as India, Canada, and many from the western United States. We are located in Grays Harbor on the Washington State central coast.
Our festival is usually on the first full weekend (Fri, Sat, and Sun) in June. Our flying beach is famous for the consistency of the winds and mild temperatures, usually low to mid sixties at the time of the festival. Join us for some fair weather and fun times!

We're Having A Corgi Beach Party!
Come watch corgis participate in the following events: Themed Corgi Costume Contests, Fluffiest Butt, and Corgi Races.
A fundraiser for the Ocean Shores Food Bank and animal shelters. Everyone is encouraged to bring unopened dry or wet pet food or treats to help feed pets.
Your $25 registration includes a tote bag, t-shirt, and corgi bandana, plus the opportunity for your corgi to participate in the events.
All dogs and humans are welcome to watch the fun and games.
