KICK OFF 2026 WITH A BRISK SPLASH IN THE PACIFIC!

Join the OS Senior Surf Club and the OS Ladies Society for a New Year’s Day Polar Plunge at the Chance A La Mer beach approach. The polar bears will start gathering around 11:00 a.m., and we’ll head into the water right at high noon.

We’ll have a cozy bonfire going to enjoy while everyone gears up for the plunge.

WARNING: The plunge is at your own risk!

The water will be in the high 40s to low 50s. That’s cold! Frigid, even. If you have any health conditions that may be a concern, consult your doctor beforehand. This is an all ages open to everyone event; however, those who are very young or very senior may want to watch from the warmth and safety of the beach.

Make sure you bring warm, dry clothes and towels for after your dip. Costumes and good vibes are encouraged.
